how do you tell frens apart from acquaintances?

it's nice to meet up with old frens. seem like we just met last week although the unit of measurement should be mths/years. all seems to be doing fine, at least everyone has a job. everyone still look the same, behaviour still the same, it just feel like old times. i missed those days of working together. the sufferings we had, the fun we enjoyed and all the stupid stuffs we did. agreed to meet up again once my exams are over.

as for the wake, dont really know how to show my empathy. it's so deja vu, those typical chinese wakes. unless you had been through it and walked a mile in his shoes, you will never understand how he feels...
