seen them before recently?

them being salespersons carrying a huge bag full of perfumes/belts/pens/watches etc etc. them in which the guys would dressed in long sleeved shirts and trousers and would looked more at ease at shenton way. them in which the gals would dressed in office wear and would normally smell very nice...unlike the guys with patches of dampness appearing on various part of their shirts.

typical sale pitch: "hello, sorry to disturb you. just give me 5 mins. i have with me blah blah. *demo of the item* something similar selling at blah blah would normally cost $x. today, i'm selling you at an offer of $y. how about one for you?"

with food in my mouth, i would mumble, "not interested lah".

poor guys, with beads of perspiration trickling down their face in this hot weather, they have to make their rounds, persuading every uncle and auntie to buy their stuffs. personally, i think that is a very poor way to earn $. i would rather work at a fast food restaurant and earn a paltry $4+ an hour.
