Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

why do people like to discuss the questions after the exams?

the paper is already over. nothing can be changed anyway. to confirm the answers are correct? to learn from mistakes? or to gloat?

to gloat? yes, to gloat over the misfortune of others when they got it wrong and you got it right. after all, we are all rivals when pursuing the grades. ok, perhaps "rivals" is not an appropriate word, a better word would be "competitors". all of us would like to see our friends cross the finishing line...but only after self. ah...the selfish nature of humans.

A: " so, did you do question 1?"
B: " yes, i did."
A: "is the answer y=mx+c?"
B: "no lah, x=my+c. confirmed plus guaranteed plus chopped "
C: "B is correct leh."

if i'm A, my feelings would be in the pit...especially if the question is more than 10 marks. THEN i hope MORE people would get it wrong too. people who make lots of mistakes in exams always like the word "moderation"...

if i'm B, i would be glad that i got it right but when i see A in anguish, somehow the happiness is not there...

as for C, who asked for your opinion anyway...
