think i went for NDP parade only twice in my life time. for those who have yet to go, you have miss out a lot. as i'd told some of my frens, it's there where most people will feel most patriotic. the great atmosphere there is so fantastic and whenever everyone break out in one of those national songs, you just cant help feeling that it's nice to be a singaporean. it's damm boh liao to watch it on tv, it's just not the same feelings.

i'm glad i took part in preparing for NDP during my NS period at the army. it's something i'll remember for times to come. the preparations were shitty, no one can deny that. i often heard lots of complaints but when everything came together on the day itself, i think all the efforts were worth it.

everyone loved the fireworks, me too but to the army guys who helped in the preparations, we do feel unappreciated. i'd been through almost the same shit. hope everything goes smoothly and every firework go off as planned.
