my sis said her school is going to start planting vegetables.
nothing unusual, i thought...at first. well, it can be a CCA or some science projects/experiments
wait till you hear the reason behind it.
one fine day, a parent was chatting with the principal.
he asked a question, "do you know why the kids nowadays are so naughty?"
"hmm...you know the answer?", she replied a question with another question.
"that's because the kids dont eat vegetables from our soil anymore!"
she related the above to some senior teachers and they concurred that it might be true.
how? let's have some inferences.
kids who dont eat vegetables = naughty
as we all know, most kids dont really like vegetables.
vegetables grown locally = taste sweeter
dont ask me why but most people who grow their own vegetables seemed to think their products are sweeter than those available in the market.
kids = like sweet things
hence the vegetables growing to encourage kids to eat more vegetables, which hopefully will tame them a bit.
hahaha.
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?
