today, i was out playing snooker with a poly project mate. gosh, it's so hard to find a snooker player to play with nowadays as most people tend to prefer pool.
it must be the holidays, the people in the outlet looked so young. some looked like they were only in sec 1. look, i got nothing against them, i started when i was thirteen too.
in my era, billiards outlets were not common. i remembered making my way to the NCO club in town for my games. with the uncles playing there, a young lad like me who's wet behind the ears looked very out of place.
...
we talked about my friends' grades.
out of the 21 people in the poly batch, 2 quit and 17 (+1 more whom i'm not so close hence dont know his result) finished the journey yesterday.
1/3 got 1st class, 1/3 got 2nd upper and the rest 2nd lower. (it's a tie between np and sp, haha)
perhaps i should buy 1713...or maybe 2117...or maybe...
if you win, remember to give me a treat hor.
...
we had some sort of celebration after our exams (dinner @ teahouse). back then, honors classification is unknown.
now that everything is out, we plan to have another one.
however, due to various commitments of each person. we cant settle a date for this week.
next week is christmas and the week after is new year celebration.
and thus, our celebration will be postponed to jan.
personally, i think...to hold a celebration so late...it would have lost some of the lustre.
it should be something spontaneous...like hey, let's go out tonight and celebrate!!!
or something like that.
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?
