who's paying the interest?

i wanted to repay my education debt to the CPF board asap.

why now since we have about a year to go before we start to repay the debt?

till now, the debt had incurred an interest of about $900+.

instead of the CPF board paying the interest to my mum, i had to fork out the money on my own.

a case of transferring money from left pocket to right pocket.

no way am i going to pay the interest on the board's behalf.

i lugi leh.
...
i couldn't found any information on their website and so i made a trip to their jurong east branch.

lots of people cashing their ERS but they were mostly elderly or those not IT savvy.

anyway, i was queuing for a long time before i reached the enquires counter.

and all she does was to hand me a form (cant i print this online?).

ok, so i'll have to send a cheque in.

and that's equaled to more queuing at the bank for a cashier's order.
