Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

another day at SGH

i think that working in a hospital is one of the depressing jobs around.

in there, you have a higher chance of seeing the worst medical cases.

and one of the worst sights.

a toddler with bloodshot eyes...her left arm with covered with a cooling paste. equally with bloodshot eyes was the female adult who carried her.

an oversized guy with a rotting leg from left kneecap down. i dont know if oxygen treatment will aid him now. perhaps throwing a few maggots will help in the healing. then again, i'm no doctor.

a very old granny munching on leftover fried rice, sitting alone at the prescription area, her belongings strewn on the floor. where's her children? or grandchildren?

one cant help but salute to the healthcare personnel. i think it's pretty negative in having to look at these scenes day in and day out.
...
at SGH, there's a ferry service between some blocks to the MRT station.

very often, there'll be a long Q for this service.

and very often, you'll see people trying to give all sort of excuses to jump Q.

what's your bloody problems with queuing up?!

thank god for the security personnel in keeping order.
