yet another yam seng

there's always a new experience for wedding dinners despite them being almost the same...so far.

last week, i had honeydew sago with vanilla ice cream.

it's kind of weird but at least it's not awful.

coconut milk with fattening ice cream, a double whammy.

and the bride, my primary school classmate, made a nice gesture the day after.

she'd sent a sms thanking me for coming down to her wedding dinner.

no doubt it's a mass sms but it's still pretty nice of her.

a friend who attended the wedding kept the menu.

she said, "after my wedding, i had nothing to remember the dinner by. so i'll keep this for the bride to see if she has one."

the wedding was held at plaza parkroyal and the only complain...

2 ballrooms share the same reception area and things do get messy when 2 couples hold their dinner there.
...
yesterday, i attended yet another wedding dinner, a poly friend this time.

i like the ballroom, i think it's of the right size. and there's no annoying pillars blocking the view of the stage or the display screen.

in my opinion, the best part of any wedding dinner is the presentation of the couple's life.

those childhood photos, gathering photos etc etc.

and before each wedding dinner, the couple would have done the normal traditional stuffs like fetching the bride etc during the day itself.

yesterday, the process was shown on a video clip.

wow, that was fast!

and the live jazz band, good touch. wonder how much they hired them for...

and the yam seng session...i had never met such a spontaneous crowd. cos most of the time, only the people on the stage will yell, yesterday was different.

the wedding was held at furama hotel and the only complain...

the waiters/waitresses are slow in topping up drinks.

ok, at least i have a lesser hangover today.

oh the bride just sent a thank you sms :)

guess it's the in thing to do now.
...
one more this week.
