WTG!

last saturday, i'd received a happy news on my handphone.

cnn world news. they hold hands liao. wait for latest update.

how nice, another poly friend is attached. and the best thing is, he got to know the gal only 2 weeks ago at a chalet.

and the funny thing is, they were from the same secondary school. they dont know each other then, and when they first met 2 weeks ago, neither knew they were from the same school. dont you love fate? after 10+ years, they got together.
...
to me, getting attached in 2 weeks is quite a feat.

he's no playboy or what. i believe it's the guy's 1st relationship.

what's his secret?

i think it all boils down to having the courage to make the 1st move.

heard this from a female friend: if i'm interested in a guy, there's no need for him to go through too much troubles to win my heart. if i dont like the guy, nothing he do will matter.

i always have problem making the 1st step which is, having the courage.

(disclaimer: nope, i dont have a target now. dont come and bug me on this post!)
...
i had dinner with them on the same day i'd received the message.

it's quite an enjoyable one because the rest of us were teasing the main lead. poor guy but hey, it's the rite of passage.

i was planning to adjourn to a pub nearby but not many were keen on the idea. beside, the couple had other plans.

i was going to drill them on what happened in the past 2 weeks but i think the main lead will get upset...

and so i zipped my mouth.

and the impression i gave her in that short 2 hours or so? not a very good one.

he chiong too much

oh well.
...
i have fond memories on drilling new couples. it reminded me of my post secondary school days, during my poly times.

my secondary school friends used to organise a chalet every 6 months or so.

and sometimes, there were new members.

after the usual bbq dinner, clean up, wash up and silly drinking games, ice had been broken.

we would then isolate the gal from her bf and asked her questions like...

what do you see in him?

where did you go on your first date?

and a lot more but i cant really remember now.

and there's one question i really look forward to: what's your impression on each of us?

those were fond memories. thinking of it now brings a smile to my face.

guys, i'm really looking forward to the one in july although it might be quite a task to handle the small ones.

I agree on what your female friend said.. but these are just the clear cut "black and white" extreme cases, where you either classify them as
Yes, I like this guy" and "No,I'm really put off by this guy". How about those that fall in the grey area? Some guys who do make the first move may win the gal as well. Most of the time, gals are waiting for the guy to make the first move and if she is really interested, she'll pursue after that.. at least that is how I feel..

are you my fairy godmother? :)

hi, do i know you personally or do you happen to stumble onto this site?

my female friend is someone who's very clear cut, no grey areas for her. i guess it's an occupational hazard (auditor).

I think what the girl meant is related to chemistry, don't you?

Hi..

I wish I were your fairy godmother!! haha... so can grant your wishes... I'm a friend of your friend's new gf who referred your blog to us. :) oh, so complicated. you'll meet me soon. don't worry.. ;p

I enjoy reading your posts. It's like a journal, your thoughts, your life. it's seldom that guys say their thoughts out loud. very interesting.

there are definitely grey areas when it comes to feelings, somehow there are times when you are not sure.. so if the other person make a move, you're more likely to give it more thoughts and perhaps a try, so when the guy doesn't make any move, then it's end of the story? with a move, there's at least 50% chance.

hi slushy mushy,

I WANT TO HOLD THE BABY!!! :)

then again, i'm scared to carry one who cant support her/his neck.

"the girl" as in fairy godmother? ya, it's chemistry, but you'll still need a catalyst.
