Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

one of the best things about being a teacher is teacher's day.

beside being a school holiday, you get to receive gifts...provided you are well liked.

i guess one can tell how popular a teacher is by the amount of gifts she/he received.

times had changed.

among the gifts my sister received from primary school children, are from choz and royce.

choz's ang ku kueh is pretty good. a tad expensive but tasty. i still prefer their peanuts to green beans.

as for royce's chocolate....simply yummy. i have yet to finish their bitter chocolate bought last week and now, i have another box of ganache chocolate. the packaging is simply elaborate, typical of japanese packing.

chocolate (20 small pieces that melt in the mouth) is located within a plastic box, with a mini fork attached. after which, it's being kept in a cardboard box with a packet of cooling agent placed on the cardboard box. next, the whole thing is wrapped with paper before being kept in a silver packaging, designed to keep the box cool. i wonder how much of that $12+ went into the frills.

and i heard my sis still have lots of branded chocolate in school.

i wont be surprised that i gained a few more kg this month.
