got car, will travel

i wish i could rest for a week.

alas, project did not go well as planned.

murphy came unannounced, as he always did.

to think we were discussing how many days off we would get.

and he graciously asked if i wanted to borrow his car during the period.

i contemplated for about a day before accepting.

it had been a long 5 yrs since i last drove.

on the 1st night, i drove my sis out for dinner.

she suggested raffles marina club at tuas, near 2nd link.

both of us "ho lan".

she commented: both of us should never join the amazing race.

we had our dinner at a cafe there.

she said the prawns from the bee hoon were nice and that was the only reason why she wanted to have dinner there.

indeed fresh and bouncy.

dont try the tom yam noodle though.

we had a walk along the berth, under the starlit sky.

nice breeze, perfect for a couple's outing.

we both concurred: what a waste to have you walking by my side.

drove to east coast on saturday morning.

i suspected my friends nearly peed in their pants.
