sometimes, during chatting with friends, we'll touch on my singlehood.
you know what, i'm tired of my female friends saying i'm nice guy.
and this reminds me of a comic strip.
...
jon said the following to his cat.
garfield, why dont women like me?
they all say, "oh jon, you're so nice...you'll make someone a wonderful husband"
but i'm never right for them.
why, garfield, why?!!
garfield replied...
because they're lying to you, jon.
...
nay, i dont think they are lying to me but...
i think being nice is not good enough.
i'll need something more.
like nice and handsome.
or nice and rich.
better still...nice, handsome and rich.
being simply nice just doesn't quite make the cut for many ladies.
i have a vague idea on what i lack but...
damm, why cant ladies make the first move?
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

So.. its that time of the year again, when this kind of questions keep popping up ? :P
not really, just that this time of the year tend to make things worse.
and you are?
nice guys always become girl's friends/buddies.
I am..... as single as you... :)
If your last sentence could come true. :)
I guess some guys are less likely to risk botching up everything over a declaration.
oh man, i'm going to disable anonymous comments if they keep coming and i cant identify from whom they come from.
i hate it.
sassyjan...
THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT!
jax, i'm not really referring to a declaration of love...well, not that i mind.
let's just start from something simple like...
hey, you free for dinner?
or...
i need to get something, will you like to shop with me?
Well, the difference between a hint and a declaration is only a thin line between, just a matter if the other party catches the hint.
