what can i say?
well, this is my first time.
a lot of stuffs i'm doing are totally new experiences for me.
i will make mistakes along the way.
i will fumble every now and then.
i will misread hints sometimes.
but the important thing is...i'm trying.

march 18th was the day i made my move.
i'm pretty surprised at how things turned out.
perhaps it's the pessimism in me.
hoping for the best but always prepared for the worst.
...
anyway, i guess it takes a certain level of expertise to spot a raw diamond.
and diamond is a lady's best friend :)
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

Indeed, I've spotted a raw diamond. But it must also take the diamond some level of sensitivity to notice that it is being spotted. Maybe the diamond is too busy shining away and attracting a lot of attention to notice that someone is admiring it from afar. Oh well...
if i have to spend some effort to polish a raw diamond, why should i bother? i can always get a polished one.
the important thing is: the diamond had already been polished to someone's expectations...
