i love to go to gatherings. it's nice to catch up on each other lives and the topics i had are always diverse and pretty interesting but most importantly, i love the food. most of the gatherings i went to were always held in restaurants. sure, it does burn a hole in my pocket but gluttony is part of my vices and that's the reason why i'm on an exercise regime. it's not because i had a gal in mind(i had gals in mind...), it's because i need to get rid of those excess fats so that i can eat more.

went to marche in hereen on wed. as usual, people are late and foreseeing it, i went to shop around in the building. lots of hip stuffs but i could never bring myself to buy any t-shirts for more than $15(i rather spend on food). really loved the design, maybe when i start working...by that time, wouldn't i be too old to be seen in those trendy clothes that are most suitable for teenagers and people in early twenties. guess this is one of those things that varies with age...maybe not.

sure all of you had been to marche before. not going to bore you on what i had but i'm sure all of you know about the card system. if the card is lost, one has to paid $100 for it but the $ would be donated to charity of one's choice. seems like every time i went there, there would be frens who would devise ways and means to beat the system. the most common one, of course would be everyone would charge what they ate on one card. when one chalked up more than $100 on food items, one would report to the manager that the card was lost. beside having a discount on food, one could donate to a charity too.

a fren said something similar on wed but with a slight variation. "why dont we bring some disabled kids(physical/intellectual) so that they could eat to their hearts' content. on top of that, we could donate to their organisation."

pretty good idea and i wonder if anyone had tried it before?
