let's see...we have about 3hr of 2003 left. looking back, nothing really extraordinary happen to me. there's ups and downs but nothing extreme.
on the $ side, enough to support my lifestyle but no saving. more, would of course be better but $ dont drop from the sky.
on social life, hmm...being the social butterfly i am, i do keep in touch with many people. from primary school frens to former colleagues. been to lots of gathering this year which would also explained why i have nil savings.
on academic side, i'm on IA for 6 months, nothing interesting though i learned a stuff or two. on the earlier half of the year, results though not fantastic but i'm happy that i cleared all the modules. so what they are only Bs and Cs, i reaped what i sowed.
on the love life, *sigh*. let's not talk about it. i dont want to ruin my last remaining hours of 2003.
health? been slacking on my exercise hence feeling rather lethargic for the past few months. stupid IA drained my life. no serious aliments except for the occasional colds. more oranges for me i guess.
family? had the occasional quarrels now and then but things do cool down.
everything could been better but hey, i'm satisfied.
my new year resolutions?
1) be more hardworking on the academic side. into my final lap of my paper chase, if i dont work hard now, i'm not going to get another chance. sheesh, i said this every year.
2) need to exercise more. i have to work off the ugly flap around my tummy. more running and perhaps some swimming if i can squeeze in the time. and of course to clear the dust gathering on my dumb bell.
3) didn't i mention not to talk about my love life?
preparing to go to devils bar to usher in the new year with a bunch of close friends and to drink ourselves silly. unlike what happen earlier this year, no way i'm going to get dead drunk this year. no way...
happy new year!!!
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?
