on a comic strip yesterday.
mum: arnie, you're 39 years old...you're not married...you have no girlfriend..are..are...are you...*choke*...
son: ma! i'm not gay!
mum: ...unemployed?!
well, i still have 13 more years...
i saw an article about teachers' code of conducts. nie is having lots of advertisements aired during the past week or so, and i cant resist adding this in.
i can protect myself from you, if you teach me how.
i was on standby during the whole of this week, preparing to go to hospital after my classes when i received an important phonecall/sms.
hey, it's a happy occasion, a baby is due this week.
yah, that group of friends which the government would be proud of. those who marry young and become young parents.
her doc predicted the baby would be due this week. judging from past occurrences, i expected the baby to be out last week. well, the last 3 kids were all premature by about a week or so. ok, ok, the gynae is not the same person.
heard that she was admitted a few hours ago and her hubby, my pal, seems to be in a state of panic. well, i guess that's the natural reaction of a new daddy. i fired off a sms to him to calm his nerves a bit.
i'm sure both mother and child will be alright.
i'm just waiting for THE call right now....although some pals in the group, including me, hope that the baby can wait till sunday. that'll be so cool.
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?
