for someone on a 512kbps adsl plan, the download speed never exceed 50+KB/sec.
i was downloading some patches from MS website just now.
the download speed shocked me.
a whopping 300KB/sec!!!
wow, less than 10 mins for a 100+MB file.
after the download was completed, i tried to downloading something else from another website.
alas, it had dropped to about 30+KB/sec.
i try downloading from MS site again.
300+ again.
good network connection between my isp and MS.
why cant it apply to all?
the above is just a rhetorical question.
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?

Wow, utterly unbelievable.....
If you post this on hardwarezone, its sure to cause a hoo hah and an unintentional DOS attack on MS server.
