she ran towards us, right hand waving madly.
hi zulc, i'm so and so!
gosh, she looked so different now. i wont have recognised her if she did not call out to us.
she's cheerful but kinda haggard.
she had lost her lustre from secondary school days.
did she been through a lot of hardship? great figure though, expected from someone of the occupation.
my friend asked for her number to "keep in contact".
...
let's keep in contact
something that's easier said than done.
how much time do you have? how do you spilt your time among your needs and wants?
do you prefer your time to be spent on maintaining contact? or forging new ones?
which group of friends has the highest priority?
decisions...decisions.
for me, it's simple.
if no one ask me out, i'm happy to stay at home.
if you ask me out, i'm equally happy to spend some time with you.
so far, this passiveness has served me well.
Are you vicariously living through me in the hope that my accomplishments will validate your mediocre life and in some way compensate for all of the opportnunities you botched?
